Pre-treatment protocol for procedures (laser, microneedling, etc.)
This protocol emerged from their post-ablative laser study. They observed that patients who had been using the product beforehand seemed to heal faster and have better results. Alisa calls it a 'little hack.' The idea is that exosomes put fibroblasts into a more active, regenerative state, so when the laser or needles create micro-injuries, the repair response is amplified. She stressed that it doesn't matter whether you use Intense or Calm for pre-treatment. Post-procedure, they recommend Calm, which is specifically formulated for compromised skin. The combination of pre- and post-treatment significantly reduces downtime—redness, inflammation, and the period before patients feel comfortable in social settings.
Exosomes deliver regenerative signals that upregulate fibroblast activity and prepare the extracellular matrix for repair. When injury occurs, the primed fibroblasts respond more robustly, accelerating healing and collagen deposition.
It's really important to pre-treat so it's like if you pre-treat for a couple of weeks with plated intense or plated calm it doesn't matter um you're revving up the fibroblast so they're actually more able to have you have a better outcome.
