He stresses that intestinal parasites can cause neuropsychiatric symptoms and that direct extraction is a powerful adjunct to oral antiparasitics.

Czerniak counters the common internet criticism that iodine kills good and bad bacteria alike. He argues that the body selectively retains bacteria that can coexist with our physiology, and those are not harmed. He notes that lactobacillus and bifidobacteria in the mouth can cause gum swelling if overgrown, but iodine rinse does not eliminate them; it merely trims back pathogens. He contrasts this with the view that all bacteria are equally susceptible.

He explains that a fluke that feeds on fatty tissue may land on the pancreas, brain, thyroid, adrenals, or ovaries depending on where heavy metals are stored. He also notes that a compressed nerve root or a dehydrated intervertebral disc can block the brain’s regulatory signals to an organ, making it ‘weak’ and an easy target for parasites. This, he says, explains why many prostate cancers are fed by chronic fluke inflammation. He integrates this with traditional Chinese meridian theory: surgical scars that cut through a meridian can open a path for parasites or disease.
