Full Young Plasma Exchange (3-Day Protocol)
Dr. Conwen explained that therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) has been used since the 1920s and FDA-approved since 1939, but typical TPE replaces with albumin, not young plasma. The young plasma approach is based on parabiosis research showing old mice given young blood become physically and cognitively younger. The 3-day protocol produces a gradual shift: first day dilutes old plasma with IV fluids to soften the impact, then young plasma is infused over two days to steeply shift the signaling environment. Patients report immediate energy and mental sharpness; a 70-year-old high-stress executive called to say his 'brain was on fire' and he'd been up since 5 a.m. with productivity. The clinic is part of the Golden Gift Study to measure epigenetic age changes pre and post procedure. Volume matters: the full protocol (2L out, 3L in) gives better results than a 'media change' of just 1L.
Plasma (52-55% of blood) is separated via centrifuge; old plasma is discarded. The young donor plasma contains over 10,000 proteins, 5,000+ peptides, high-concentration exosomes that transfer epigenetic instructions, and chronocines that signal the body to reverse aging processes. The removal of old plasma reduces inflammatory load and autoantibodies, while the infusion triggers systemic repair and stem cell activation.
Ben Greenfield experienced intense energy within hours, mild hives and itching that resolved, and mental clarity that kept him awake until 1 a.m. despite physical activity. Dr. Conwen shared the anecdote of the 70-year-old patient who felt an almost manic surge of cognition and energy.
the donated young plasma, it doesn't get old. It's the opposite. It's kind of influenced and it's called chronocines which is kind of like the messenger for time and it send the signal to the rest of the body to kind of like reset the aging clock.
